- Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men
- 250,000 men are living with prostate cancer
- One man dies from prostate cancer every hour
- 9 out of 10 adults do not know what the prostate gland does
Who's at risk?
- 1 in 9 men will get prostate cancer
- It mainly affects over 50
- Men are 2.5 times more likely to get prostate cancer if they have a close relative (father or brother) with the disease
- African Carribean men are 3 times more liely to develop prostate cancer than white men the same age
