  • Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men
  • 250,000 men are living with prostate cancer
  • One man dies from prostate cancer every hour
  • 9 out of 10 adults do not know what the prostate gland does

Who's at risk?

  • 1 in 9 men will get prostate cancer
  • It mainly affects over 50
  • Men are 2.5 times more likely to get prostate cancer if they have a close relative (father or brother) with the disease
  • African Carribean men are 3 times more liely to develop prostate cancer than white men the same age
