The Practice

Streatham Park Surgery has two sites: one in Streatham on Mitcham Lane, and the other about a mile away in Tooting on Franciscan Road. Our practice area is within half a kilometer of each site.

Our practice team includes four GPs, a practice manager, practice nurse, health care assistant, a secretary, five receptionists and a scanning clerk. Our Primary Care Team (PCT) includes a counselling psychologist, community dietician, health visitor and district nurse teams.

We offer a full range of general medical services and run designated clinics for pre and post natal care, baby clinics and minor surgery. In addition, we carry out several chronic disease monitoring clinics focusing on the elderly, severely mentally ill and patients with chronic health problems.

Our philosophy is to treat all our patients promptly, courteously and in complete confidence.

This website is for both existing patients and those who wish to register with the practice. It offers information about our services, how to access them and provides general information about how our practice operates. The website also tells you what to expect from the practice and what we, the practice, expects of you, the patient.

Patients with Special Needs
There is suitable access for disabled patients, direction notices in Braille and a loop induction system for the hard of hearing with hearing aids.

Interpreting Services
We have doctors in the surgery who can speak Tamil, Urdu and Punjabi, as well as English. We are able to arrange interpreters over the phone for those who do not speak English. Please let us know if you may need this service as it needs to be arranged in advance; however, it would be in your best interest to bring someone with you who can speak English.
